At about 2:11 p.m. Saturday, Jason Anthony Brown, 28, approached the 30-year-old woman’s vehicle in the restaurant lot. He got into the vehicle, brandished a gun and demanded money, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach. The woman said she gave Brown about $90, then he fled on foot. Officers found Brown exiting a condominium near the restaurant, reports the Daily News. Brown admitted he had “obtained” $50 from the woman and had since spent it on food from the Olive Garden, according to the Daily News. He was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
