Ikea is too Hot for Texas TV (Video)!!!

Some Texans aren’t huge fans of the number 69. Ikea on the other hand doesn’t mind a little 69 in the bedroom. See the video too hot for some Texas television stations.

I never thought that an Ikea commercial would join the ranks of too hot for TV advertisements, but apparently I was wrong. Several stations in Houston have banned Ikea’s latest commercial because they find it too sexually suggestive. The ad prominently features the number 69 (with the 6 and 9 separated by a small dot), while several several locations such as in the office and in the bedroom scroll right underneath it. The ad is publicizing the reopening of an Ikea location on June 9th, but I guess quite a few people have their heads permanently fixed in the gutter and thought it was a reference to the sexual position 69. Come on guys, I’m sure the ad folks at Ikea had ABSOLUTELY no idea how funny it would be to have the number 69 on the screen with the word bedroom flashing under it. Is the commercial really that naughty? Probably not. Now if someone was demonstrating June 9th, that might be a slightly different story. But here’s the video, so you can judge for yourselves just how freaky Ikea is.
