Man charged with telling police dog to sit!!

|

Here's a law you don't want to break.

Who knew?

Mario Duane Porter was pulled over by the Gainesville police for operating a loud car stereo -- it was so loud that you could hear it more than 25 feet beyond the vehicle.

The cop wrote in his report that Porter was belligerent and yelling profanities, reports the Gainesville Sun.

Soon a police dog was brought to the scene.

Porter "began stating loud commands to 'sit' and 'sitz,' which interrupted the K9 from his duties. The K9 stopped twice while walking the vehicle and looking in the direction of (Porter) who was giving those commands, " according to the police report.

But the dog kept on task and found a small plastic bag containing marijuana residue under the front passenger seat.

Now Porter will be the one sitting -- in his cell.
