So how did this guy hit the fried chicken jackpot? Well it turns out that he stole a bunch of $5 coupons from the Iron Mountain Records facility. But don’t think he is going to be one well-fed individual for the rest of his days. He actually began selling them off to other people who could have either redeemed them for food or had them converted into cash. Sadly his money making plans were foiled after a routine audit by the company turned up a whole bunch of missing coupons and he’s now facing charges of “theft by unlawful taking.”
Lesson to take away from this unfortunate incident: diversify you coupon thefts. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut gotta have something worth taking.
