Video Shows Bus Driver Saving Baby in Street !!!

A San Antonio city bus was headed down a street just after midnight when the driver saw something moving in the middle of the otherwise empty roadway.

"From a distance I can't tell exactly what it is," driver Mike Hubbard told WOAI-TV, the NBC affiliate in San Antonio, which obtained video from the bus's camera. "It looks like a dog, something moving around, I can't really tell what it was. ... I started slowing down and then I noticed it's a baby in the middle of the street."

That baby was 14-month-old Destiny Flores, whose mother is now fighting to keep custody of her and her two sisters, and whose father is no longer allowed to see the girls, according to reports.

The videotape shows that Hubbard stopped the bus and went over to Destiny, clad only in a diaper. There are no adults in sight.

"To me, he looked like he was 8 months old with a Pamper, just sitting there," Hubbard said. "I couldn't tell if he was eating something or not. But, his eyes got real big when he saw the big old bus in front of him."

Hubbard stood with the child for a few seconds before her father came running out of his house, scooped her up and left, without a word to Hubbard, according to the videotape.
