Mother left baby in car while she had a beer and smoke some weed!!

Nora Paulene Leach-Peterson left her 3-month-old baby in a car for 30 minutes Saturday morning -- yes, in the morning -- while she drank beer on a Hudson back porch, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

The baby was covered with a white blanket in a car seat about 11 a.m. when a deputy found him, an arrest report states. She did crack down the driver's side window a few inches. But the baby was covered in sweat, reports the St. Petersburg Times.

Mom told the, "I only left (him) in the car for approximately half an hour, he was sleeping and I drank one beer."

But it looks like she did more than drink a beer.

A deputy found a bag of green leaves and a silver pipe that tested positive for marijuana near her beer bottle, the report said.

Leach-Peterson, 32, of Carpentersville, Ill., was charged with child neglect and drug possession.
