Cops: Six dog heads found in restaurant trash bin!!

|

A worker at Tucson's Southwest Grill in Largo got a shock when he took out the trash last week: he found six severed dog heads inside the dumpster, reports the St. Petersburg Times.

There was little blood at the scene.

"It's pretty disturbing," Adam Parascandola, director of animal cruelty issues at the Humane Society of the United States said. "What kind of person would do something like that?"

Well, now they have an answer.

The six severed dogs' heads were not the result of animal cruelty.

They were legally obtained from dogs that had been euthanized and used by a licensed medical company for veterinary training, according to Largo police Lt. Mike Loux, reports the St. Petersburg Times.

At Newspitter Headquarters we'd like to know one thing: what kind of veterinarians would dispose of dogs' heads in a restaurant dumpster?
