BraVo: A Father Turns Son In After, Seeing Him On T.V Snatching An Old Lady's Purse!!

Tampa police released surveillance video of a teenager suspected of snatching a purse from a 62-year-old woman.


The suspect's grandmother just happened to be watching the news -- and recognized her grandson.

She then contacted her son, who is the father of the 15-year-old boy, and he, too, saw the boy on television, as did the boy's mother, Tampa police said.

Then dad did an honorable thing: he turned his son in to authorities.

The youth was arrested.

Police say he 'fessed up to stealing the woman's purse, but denied he had any involvement in three similar offenses that occurred in the same area.

Good work, dad!
