World’s First Sex Robot Unveiled!!!

I know you’ve been waiting with bated breath for this one, so here goes: say hello at Roxxxy, the world’s first sex robot. But before you start checking your bank account to put a down payment on this baby, Roxxxy isn’t quite the sex robot that you probably had in mind. The creation of New Jersey-based company True Companion, Roxxxy is in more for the conversation than any between the sheets action. The robot is hooked up to a laptop and responds to it’s owner’s touch because of sensors placed throughout its body. While the robot can’t move on its own and its speech comes from a loudspeaker rather than her mouth, Roxxxy receives periodic updates allowing her to expand her vocabulary and talk about subjects that her owner might be interested in.

So how did this stroke of genius come about? Sex doll enthusiasts can attribute this creation to September 11th. Yes, you read that correctly, September 11th. Apparently the creator of Roxxy, Douglas Hines, was inspired to delve into the world of artificial intelligence after losing a friend in the terrorist attacks and wanting to preserve his memory for his children. Still trying to figure out exactly how Roxxxy fits into that grandiose idea, but I’ll go with it for now.

So how much will Roxxxy cost you? The doll is currently priced between $7,000 and $9,000. That’s pretty expensive for a chick who’s not putting out. Just saying.
