Shawty Redd Surrenders To Police, Claims Self-Defense!!

In the early morning of New Years day while Demetrius Stewart professionally known as Shawty Redd was at his home with another individuals who was not an intruder. However, an argument ensued in which this individual threaten violence against Shawty Redd. Shawty Redd feared his life and felt his life was in jeopardy and retrieved his firearm for self-defense. As a result an individual was shot and killed. Immediately, thereafter Shawty Redd went to the Henry County police Department and surrender himself. At approximately, 5:30 PM crime scene units were seen leaving Shawty Redd house in Henry County.

Shawty Redd is schedule for an arraignment at 8:30 AM at Henry County Jail located at 120 Henry Parkway McDonough Georgia 30253 At this point no bond has been issued.
