Katt Williams Arrested in Georgia for, No Joke, Burglary!!!

|

'Friday After Next' comedian Katt Williams was arrested overnight after police say he broke into a home in suburban Atlanta and snatched various items including jewelry. Police have charged Williams with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to Coweta County Sheriff's Office Major James Yarbrough. He is being held there until a magistrate sets bond at an arraignment expected Monday afternoon.

Yarbrough outlined the incident to the press: On Sunday night, a homeowner in Newman, Ga. called police around 9 p.m. to report that Williams "gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken." It's believed Williams is in Georgia working on a film, though there are no projects listed on his IMDB page. He lives in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Williams, whose real name is Micah S. Katt Williams, is known for his roles in the movies 'Friday After Next' and 'Norbit.' His comedy DVD, 'Katt Williams: Pimpadelic,' was no. 8 in the nation for sales during the week of Oct. 30, according to Nielsen/VideoScan.
