Survey: Nearly Half a Million Crashes Caused by Women Applying Makeup!!!

Women applying makeup while driving are responsible for nearly half a million accidents a year in Britain with young women being the most likely to put beauty before safety, according to a recent poll.

Of the 4,000 women who were polled, nearly one-fifth admitted to applying makeup while driving, a story by the Telegraph reported, a number that is equivalent to 2.7 million of Britain's 15 million women drivers. Twenty-seven percent of female drivers between 17 - 21 admitted to driving and putting on makeup at the same time, and nine percent of drivers under 18 admitted to crashing their car as a result.

"Is your mascara more important than yours and other road users' safety?" said Sian Lewis, managing director of Diamond insurance who conducted the poll, told the Telgraph.
