Martin Alvey, 90, of Tualatin, Ore., has been legally blind for a couple years because of macular degeneration, a disease that erodes a person's vision over time. But after a recent medical emergency, Alvey says his vision has been restored. Alvey said he called 911 in the middle of the night after feeling dizzy. Because of his eye disease, he can't see objects more than about a foot away, but as he waited at the hospital to see a doctor, he realized his sight had improved.
I guess this can be a prime example of the saying that miracules do happen. I guess somes of us do have it more than others but we just don't realise it because after nintey years off living and finally seeing, one can only image the happiness that that man is experiencing right now.
