!!Kelis files to Divorce Nas!!

Thursday Kelis officially filed for a divorce from her husband of five years and nine months. "I can confirm that she has filed for divorce," a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE. "We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time." According to the petition for dissolution of marriage document, obtained by Vibe.com, Nas and Kelis wed on July 28, 2003.
Kelis, who is seven months pregnant, is rumored to be unhappy with Nas' "verbally abusive and cheating ways" reports RapRadar.com. Ironically, Nas didn't express any indication that the marriage was experiencing problems last month when he spoke to MTV News, reports Access Hollywood. He said that his pregnant wife was doing "great" and discussed their approach to determine the child's name.
