"She's getting plenty of calories, but her body is burning all the calories that she's getting and they don't know where it's going to," her father told MSNBC.
Maggie was born prematurely and suffers from other health problems, including a hole in her heart and an irregular heartbeat. But specialists in Utah can't figure out why the child is suffering the weight and muscle loss. They recommended that she be taken to a hospital in Boston for further tests.
